You are giving waiver only to those who happened to be on this thread. How about those who haven't seen this? How about those who didn't stand up and confront? I suggest you make it official and post it on the web site. I think someone has already mentioned somewhere in this thread about how we shouldn't have to contact sales for this.

I do NOT need refund. I just think it's unfair that you guys are not giving any upgrade discount for existing customers (recent customers, I would say) signing up for this new subscription plan without making us gripe and negotiate about it. This is totally unnecessary on both sides if you guys just did the right thing.

Have you even thought about this from existing customers' standpoint at all?? Just look at the numbers...

The value you have in the owned extension is still worth something, and really this offer doesn't change that. There is still an advantage for owning over leasing if you plan on using the extensions over time and don't want to be tied to the subscription.

You kind of want to have your cake and eat it too by owning the extensions outright and getting free updates and not having to pay the subscription.  

But the problem is that the current pricing model doesn't reflect what you are saying here. Think about it again: Super Suite, even at the current price, is about 2.5 year worth of subscription for THE ENTIRE PRODUCT LINE no matter how you twist it. Granted, full license owners will get free dot release updates, but are you saying you won't release any major upgrade versions for the next 3 years? At this pace full license owners will keep paying more and more while subscription members will have virtually the same thing for much less, if the full license owners are to stick with their licensing scheme. Then you say "just switch to subscription" but then what was the point of us having already paid full price to "own" our licenses?

We pay up front, and we *still* pay monthly, the same amount non-licensed people do. Newcomers pay *only* monthly and a nominal sign-up fee, and they virtually get the same thing for months to come, all while both parties sign up fairly recently. Would've been fine if the last time we paid was over 12 months ago and it's time to upgrade either way anyway, or owners of current version get discount to take advantage of subscription-updates, but that's not what's happening here. All this, until someone gripe here and get backdoor discount, which still wouldn't be enough, but how about those who aren't reading this thread?

They listened, indeed. WebAssist has been doing a great job patiently listening to us, and I am pleased to report that they have resolved my case in satisfactory manner. I now consider this peacefully resolved. Thank you Ray for being patient with our complaints.
