Image Resizer Proportioned to box

Hi Jason,

I am having an issue with the image resizer. I have images being pulled dynamically and displayed as thumbnails (crop from center). Then when you click on the thumbnail it opens a layer to show the image larger (proportioned to box). This layer has the image placeholder set to be 500x500 pixels.
This works most of the time, but on a few images it does not display the correct ration of the image.

This page shows images that DO NOT enlarge correctly: http://www.ellarichardson.com/paintings.php?artID=79
This page shows the enlargements correctly: http://www.ellarichardson.com/paintings.php?artID=75

Any advice?

thx
Eric
