it's not so much that it applies only to option ID 12, as it applies to items where the PriceIncrement is 0 right?

For this, we'll need to create a new column, name it Discountable. in the add to cart buttons set the value for the discountable column to 0

next on the calculations tab, create a new calculation named setDiscountable as:

abs(in_array([ID], array('7','8','55')) && [PriceIncrement] == 0)?[Discountable]=1:0

this will dynamically set the discountable column to 1 if the Item ID is 7,8, or 5 AND the price Increment is 0

for the discount, set the trigger to number of items where "Discountable" has a value of "1" is ">" a value of 0

and set the calculation to:

floor($this->ConditionalTotal("Quantity", "Discountable", "1") / 2) * 8
