Dear Jason, my head is fried. I can’t think.

I have a form which is supposed to update a child table (member table) - but it doesn't. Funnily, If I add a member, I can go and edit the record, but only once - I cannot do any subsequent edits to it or any other record.

Firstly I use CSS Form builder to build the form -I used the same preset thatI used to buikld the 'add member' form - this was to save time designing the form again. I’ve also used the Data Assist Update Server behaviour. But when i hit submit it won’t update the table. It must be something to do with the way I bound the form to the table or the validation or the fact that I used CSS form builder. I feel it's the validation, but I'm only making an educated guess.

I didn’t bind the member ID, because I’m sure WebAssist takes care of this, and I bound the foreign key (familyID ) to the sessionID. I also used no hidden fields because I assume you don’t need to with DataAssist.

Just to let you know, the update page for the family works - I can edit the family table as often as I like - but this isn’t using foreign keys – so with no foreign key to deal with, I'm fine!

I’ve attached a pdf with screenshots and my update page.
