Framework builder vs. site sculptor

Framework builder and Site Sculptor are completely different tools, comparing the 2 is an apples to sirloin steak comparison.

Site Sculptor is a tool that allows you to quickly create the entire site pages, and add CMS if you wish.

It will create a template that is used as the design for the pages in your site to allow you to easily mange the look of the site and separate the design form the content.

Framework builder is a tool that is intended for use when you are creating your site pages manually, nit sing Site Sculptor.

Framework builder has 2 parts to it:
1) Plugins. this allows you to create your pages separately then add them to other pages as plugins.

an example would be a security assist login page. you could add the login for to the index page by adding it as a plugin.

Plugins can be dynamic, so you could have an index page, and add the security assist login or registration page called as a plugin based on a URL variable.

2) Themes. Framework builder themes is an advanced use of DW Templates. see the "Using Design Extender and Data Bridge's Theming Engine" video on our you tube channel for more details:
