The Only Way I Could Recover
I fully recovered.
Here's what I had to do:
(Running XP pro and CS4 Web Premium)
1. Remove (not disable) all WebAssist Dreamweaver Extensions - When Dreamweaver is crashed you can open up your Extension Manager by clicking on a saved extension installation file in any folder. I did not remove extensions from other sources.
2. Uninstall Adobe CS4 Web Premium completely (or which ever version you have).
3. Re boot and clean install CS4 (or which ever version you have). In my case the clean installation automatically rebuilt my Site Portfolio, so there was nothing lost there.
4. Reinstall and reactivate all trusted WA Extensions.
It takes a while but it cleans up everything without hacking at it.
