Making own Add to Cart button default

Making own Add to Cart button default

Im using my own design of an Add to Cart button. It is stored as a .gif in the files section of my web page. Right now I have to click the own button function and enter the file location each time I add a new product, and adding many new products make this process quite time consuming. Is there any way I can set my own Add to Cart button as default, and without having to enter its file location each time?
