Why can't I edit my contents

it sounds like you are using a static template "tempalte.dwt", not a dynamic one "tempalte.dwt.php".

to use framework builder plugins, the template will need to be dynamic.

when using a static page, you will need to turn on the script invisible element in order to trigger the menu edit option.

Open Dreamweaver preferences, and in the Invisible elements section check "scripts".


also go to View -> Visual Aids and make sure Invisible elements is checked.

now in design view, you should see a shield icon next to the menu, click this to trigger the edit option in the property inspector.
