Can Add To Cart Bttn Add Multiple Items?

Some of our workshops include a materials fee in addition to the base price of the workshop. I was curious if the add to cart button using eCart can combine the prices of the two separate fees such as the base price of the workshop and the materials fee, and then add the combined price to the cart?

For example:

Workshop Price: $20.00
Materials Fee: $10.00

Combined Price: $30.00 *

*the combined price is sent to the cart.

What I have attempted to do, prior to sending this thread, is create the materials fee in the sql database that maintains the prices of the workshop and went to the eCart object and added another line column and labeled it MaterialsFee. I then went back to the file and opened up the add to cart Form Recordset and bound the MaterialsFee column to the default value in the sql; database for the Materials Fee.

However, when I tested this method, the cart did not show the combined total. It only showed the base price of the workshop.

Any help would be appreciated.
