no joy

no joy

I'm having no joy in getting ecart to work. I'm finding it overly complex and very unfriendly.

I want an extremely simple form with 4 buttons for different donation amounts, plus an option for people to enter their own amount. Then I want that info shown on the page and sent to FirstData for processing (along with the persons name, address etc that they filled in on the main page). That's it.

I got it working in the front end here:
donate.php
but have no idea what to do in order to get the information moved over to firstdata.

Currently the donate button just refreshes donate.php to a blank page. I thought I had followed the instructions completely, but it just ended up being a mess.

Can someone advise?

ps we originally set this up to process payments on our site, but the requirement of opening port 1129 is not something shared hosts will do, so we're now going to have to pass the payment processing on to firstdata's site.
