Slide show wide

I need to know how to make the slide show wide work., I have spent hours working with the css and more. Reading the post and I am stuck. I am using the crazy theme, I have added images to the gallery. The wide slide show crops any image size I put into the gallery. I just want a simple slideshow that runs on the front page that will fit into the header area. It crops the picture and makes it run to the edge of the header area. I need to know what size my images need to be for this slideshow to fit into the crazy theme header and how to make it stop cropping my image. I would like for it to render the image size I upload to the gallery. Please help me on this. I need some help quickly on this.
