Still not getting the Unique Value validation to work.

I have a page with an email input field:

<input id="User_Update_group_email" name="User_Update_group_email" type="text" value="<?php echo $row_SecurityAssistconsumers["email"]; ?>" class="inputwidth210profile" tabindex="3" onBlur="hideServerError('User_Update_group_email_ServerError');">

So I'm doing the following:

WebAssist > Forms > Validation > Server Validation

Validation Trigger: Any Form Post
Validation type: Unique Database Value
Server Variable: ((isset($_POST["User_Update_group_email"]))?$_POST["User_Update_group_email"]:"")

Select Connection
Select Table - consumers
Unique column - email

Key Column : consumer_ID
Key Value : <?php echo $row_SecurityAssistconsumers['consumer_ID']; ?>

Up in all the PHP code at the top of the page, I'd expect to see a new error validation appear, starting:

$WAFV_Errors .= WAValidateUnique....

But there's nothing appearing, so not sure where I'm going wrong still.
