decrypting an encrypted password field in SHA1

Hi,
I just built a new system using the DataBridge tools - very cool and should save a lot of time down the road. I decided to encrypt passwords in my new Users table using SHA1. It works flawlessly when setting it up, except when it comes time to update a record.

When the record is brought up in the update.php page the password is filled in as the full SHA1 key. If the password is not changed and "Save" is clicked the password field validation fails because it is the long key and not the unencrypted password.

How do I decrypt the password when the update page loads to pre-fill the password field with the existing password?

Is it a WebAssist process or a DreamWeaver one?

Any help appreciated!

- Roland (DW CS4, Windows Vista)
