since the page uses a template, i would suspect that the template file itself has the BOM Attribute turned on.

the thread I linked to above gives steps for disabling the BOM attribute, you will need to perform those steps on the template, then reapply the template to the page and make sure the BOM is disabled on the page.  




The TEMPLATE HAS BOM turned OFF. That is not the problem or...er. It is turned off on the template but turned on in the individual pages. BUT I did not turn it on and because it is a template, I can't turn it off??? ! weird...

It also appears that the wizard to create security login turned BOM on by itself.
