DataAssist Search - retaining search results when using a search results detail page

DataAssist Search - retaining search results when using a search results detail page

I have a site that I am creating and the DA search feature is working as it should, but when I click on one of the results to go to a detail page, and click the back button, the browsers aren't caching the search results. Is there any way to do this through hidden form fields or something else, instead of browser settings? I'll show you an example:

From this page (index.php), type in cave in the keywords search box.

This will take you to a search results page where you can click on the name of the listing to view the details. All up to this point is working fine.

However, when you use your back button on the browser, or a 'previous page' javascript link, you have to manually refresh the page. I know this has to do with browser caching, but is there any workaround for this? Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you!
