okies....the only change that I have done is to add the archive page which i thought would be the 'best' way to display the, for example, the resuts for the relevant archive menu that is clicked on...

tbh I am getting really confused as I thought I was close to having created what I needed/wanted when I put in for the premier support..

What am I doing wrong with what I have got and what do I need to do/change to achieve the following:

1. news page list which when article is clicked takes through to
2. news article page

both 1 & 2 to autmatically display the published date from the database itself

both 1 & 2 to include an archive menu (Month/Year) which, when clicked, displays the posts from that month but when you go back to the main news list page it shows all articles rather than the articles from the month that was clicked on which is what is happening now.
