DataAssist Pages Wizard Fails

Thread began 5/02/2012 7:15 pm by neo314 | Last modified 5/06/2012 10:46 pm by neo314 | 1341 views | 13 replies

I think this may be another error in the DA pages wizard. I don't want to go too far out of my way to verify this one. Just use checkbox on an update page through the wizard and see if it recreates for you.

The wizard set the checkbox code like this:

<input type="checkbox" name="allowComment" id="allowComment" value="1" class="formCheckboxField_Standard" <?php if (!(strcmp((isset($_GET["invalid"])?ValidatedField("postsupdate","allowComment"):"".$row_WADAblog_posts["allowComment"].""),"".$row_WADAblog_posts["allowComment"].""))) {echo "checked=\"checked\"";} ?> tabindex="6">

I have no idea where the GET trigger value came from, but obviously it was invalid, and the logic is incorrect. The code should determine if the validation value OR the existing database value is 1. This logic will cause the checkbox to always be checked (0 does equal 0).

Something similar happened to the code on the insert page:

<input type="checkbox" name="allowComment" id="allowComment" value="1" class="formCheckboxField_Standard" <?php if (!(strcmp((isset($_GET["invalid"])?ValidatedField("postsinsert","allowComment"):""),""))) {echo "checked=\"checked\"";} ?> tabindex="6">
