Mike, I know how you feel. I felt the same way when I started using WA products. It has a learning curve that even seasoned coders have to learn. But I promise you, after you get used to these extensions, you will appreciate their usefulness. They sure come in handy especially when you have projects that are even complex that you have to undertake.
The inadequate tutorials make this learning curve even more confusing. I suggest that if the guys at WA are too busy writing codes to have time for tutorials, I hope the admins of this forum can create a forum for seasoned users of WA extensions to help new users by writing tutorials on how to use these products. They can also give some tips about their experiences and so on.
As for opening tickets closing a thread, the problem is that most of the time, it is not due to the extensions themselves. It might be due to users overlooking little things which happens in coding that may not be related to the extensions. But let these users help readers out by writing how the issue was resolved even if you think it is not relevant to you. Someone else may be making the same mistake. We shouldn't expect Jason to come and write how he took care of things for other readers to know about.
Once again Mike be patient and ask for help in the respective forum. Any problem can be solved by these guys. Trust me.
