Thanks to the help of Ray the problem was resolved quickley and efficently, it appears that there is sometimes a problem when you run power cms and security asssist on the same site, it can cause a conflict with the helper files,
the simple fix was to let Dreamweaver do a sitewide search and replace for ..
Then re-upload all files to the live server including the admin template as this is called for on line 46
This will now stop any conflicts and you can access your cms admin files.
As for the kfm path issue I mentioned, when importing tables from localhost to a live server, this was also a simple fix just delete all the the tables with the kfm_ prefix from the live server, when you first use the text editor in the cms it will automatically re create the tables.
I hope this helps anyone else who is facing a similar problem.
