Help creating a form using lookup codes

Thread began 3/06/2012 6:18 am by saf01 | Last modified 3/13/2012 2:27 pm by saf01 | 1465 views | 15 replies

Thanks for the info.

I have no cart page, just a simple registration form with a quantity field (Qty). I have added a ProductInStock column to the database and added 10 for example for one item (i only have one item). Is there a way I can check that a user doesnt add more than whats available. I have added a recordset that shows the ProductInStock from the database. I have added hidden fields next to the Sumbit button and clicked on lighting bolt for each of the fields and selected ProdID, ProductInStock and ProdPrice.

Please can you tell what I can do to from here.

EDIT: Its ok. I decided not to do this the way I described. Customer can only buy 1 product at a time. What I would like to do is to decrease stock everytime someone places the order. Please can anyone help with this. Thanks you very much.
