Data Assist Search Wizard crashes Dreamweaver CS5

Thread began 3/01/2012 9:04 am by toni272059 | Last modified 3/01/2012 11:38 am by toni272059 | 830 views | 2 replies

Data Assist Search Wizard crashes Dreamweaver CS5

I am trying to use the DA Search Wizard and each time I click Finish it crashes Dreamweaver CS5

I have read the various posts and gone thru the steps to delete the .dat file, reboot and restart Dreamweaver. Does not help. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled DataAssist.

One observation -- the cache file is not always there to delete. Specifically after a crash. If I open Dreamweaver and then close myself the .dat file is created. I then deleted the file, rebooted and tried again. Same problem.

This is a new problem, working on a new project. The DA Wizards worked fine for a previous project using the same Search features.

I am on a Mac, OS X 10.6.8
