SSL Questions

I am reading through your documentation (Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and eCart sites). It says that if I do remote checkout, then I do not need an ssl. I am using sagepay. We already bought the ssl. I was originally going to do remote checkout, but should I do local? Otherwise, I just made my client buy something that he doesn't need (if I understand your documentation correctly).

Your documentation also says:
"If your secure domain name is different to your regular domain name, you will need to follow these steps to make sure that when a customer makes a purchase through your site, they are transferred to the secure site automatically. This is accomplished by creating a new Checkout button on your checkout page that takes the customer to the secure site."

Is this going to apply to me? Based on the work you have done with me, what is my situation? I am using godaddy. I want to use the ssl we bought if possible.

One more thing: Can you answer my questions in the previous post as well? My posts for the last 3 days show as hot thread with no new posts. I post questions everyday. Sometimes I just amend a previous post. Is that the wrong way to do things?

I mean all of this in the nicest of ways. You have been a huge help Jason and I will owe it all to you when I am finished.
