I am getting the exact same error. "Unable to edit your database with the provided user credentials. Please make sure the connection user has write access to this database."

I have created a database in dreamweaver CS5 and hit "Test." It connects fine. When I go to my php page and select my firs area to "Add Content to Power CMS" I get the above error.

I am hosting with Hostgator and have contacted them. They have tested the connection to the database and everything works fine. As it does when I test. I only get the error when I try to add to Power CMS.

All the threads on the forum end with someone opening a ticket. No one has posted an answer. Please advise on how to fix this issue. I bought this product 4 days ago and have been pulling my hair out to use the Power CMS. It definitely portrayed in the video tutorial as easy to use. Please help.

I'm definitely with this guy! This product shouldn't be so difficult to implement! Would like an answer please...
