MM_ERROR: An unidentified error has occurred.

I am working with Dreamweaver CS5, Windows 7, and sql. My hosting provider is 1and1. I am attempting to use DataAssist to retrieve data from my SQL database. When I open the DataAssist Wizzard I am able to connect to the database and select the appropriate table ; However, when I click the down drop arrow to select the "Key column", all I get is an error message that says: "MM_ERROR: An unidentified error message has occurred and I cannot go any further.

I have already deleted the cache file, renamed the table, created a new table, etc. Nothing I have done has helped. Can you offer a fix for this please? Thanks!
