Another License Question for PowerCMS 2

Thread began 9/22/2011 1:06 am by anitah355532 | Last modified 9/23/2011 1:05 am by anitah355532 | 774 views | 2 replies

Another License Question for PowerCMS 2

I purchased Power CMS when it was first released and upgraded to version 2. Would you please check if I qualify for an unlimited license for version 2?

If not, can you please help with a potential problem? I thought that, as with Powerstore, I'd be able to install the database on a testing site as well as the client's site. So, I went ahead and created a test database on my own domain to familiarise myself with the product before discussing it with clients.

Then I looked into the whole licensing thing more deeply and realised that I may have inadvertently used up my one license! I'm happy to remove the installation on my test site, but how do you guys know that I've done that?

The result is that I want to install my one licensed copy on the client's domain. A test database would be ideal, but if that's not an option, can you assist me with how I deactivate the 'test' install?

Thanks, Anita
