first off, lets address how to store the options in the database.

the options groups table defines the available option types:

optiongroups
optionGroupID | OptionGroupName
1 | Size
2 | color


the options table defines the options that belong to the groups
options:
OptionID | optionGroupID | OptionName
1 | 1 | Small
2 | 1 | Medium
3 | 1 | Large
4 | 2 | Red
5 | 2 | yellow
6 | 2 | Green




the productoptions is a linking table that assigns the options to the product
ProductOptionID | ProductID | OptionID | OptionGroupID | OptionPriceIncrement
1 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
2 | 1 | 2 | 1 |
3 | 1 | 3 | 1 |

This is an example of adding small Medium and Large options to product 1.

this example adds small medium and large size and the colors Red and Blue to product 2
ProductOptionID | ProductID | OptionID | OptionGroupID | OptionPriceIncrement
4 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
5 | 2 | 2 | 1 |
6 | 2 | 3 | 1 |
7 | 2 | 4 | 2 |
8 | 2 | 6 | 2 |


Next step is to test your recordset for this, add the following code after the <body> tag:

echo("SQL: ".$query_WADAOptions."<br />");
echo("number of records: ".$totalRows_WADAOptions."<br />");
?>[php]

this will write the SQL code and the number of records returned to the page, you can copy the SQL and use it in MyPHPAdmin or another MySQL GUI Tool to help troubleshoot why it is not returning correct results.
