now we get to the real question.

first off, the database structure you describe in message 36 is not correct for doing this.

you need to be using the database structure form the free eCommerce database:

Second, the product id is being passed to the detail page using the ProductID questrystring variable:


third, your recordset needs to join the products, options, options groups, and productoptions table together to get the correct options that apply to the product.

if examine the "Product Options with eCart" tutorial on the eCart support page, it will give you a step by step guide for doing this and the creating the recordset.
