dual login functionality

I'm wondering if I'll need to establish two different login profiles for one person to be able to access two different areas of a site that use both PowerCMS Builder and Data Assist functionality. I'm using Data Assist for a news article section that the client can update and will have pagination.

This past weekend I followed Ray's instructions from another post on doing a find/change and combining the helper php files so there aren't any compatibility issues with the Power CMS Builder files and Security Assist 2 files. All went well there - no fatal error messages anymore.

The real problem I'm facing is when an Admin person logs in they're redirected straight to the admin_cms/index.php page as expected. Using one login name, I'm not sure how to offer two different paths. Would it be doable to include radio buttons or a pull-down with two choices on the login page? Choose one, then the Admin person is taken to that area of the site? Or include a link to the Data Assist pages somewhere on the admin_cms/index.php page?

I can't seem to wrap my head around the logic to do this. That's why I was was thinking maybe just have two different admin user names like:
1.) admin-CMS
2.) admin-DA

Thanks.
