Setting up a Dynamic Dropdown

Thread began 7/07/2011 4:37 pm by elewis93815 | Last modified 7/19/2011 4:23 pm by elewis93815 | 4072 views | 28 replies

Hello Jason,

We are still having some road blocks in getting these dynamic dropdowns to work correctly.

We have the data populating in the dropdowns however, in the child, we are having to manually enter the data from the Dynamic List Window versus the data populating from the database table.

We are also having a challenge with getting the data over to the cart. We did create a binding in the description column to the parent and child. It is populating only the child. Also we are only seeing the first record in the recordset showing regardless of which "Color" we choose.

Lastly, you had mentioned to change code:
$ATC_itemDescription = "";// column binding
$ATC_itemDescription = "".$_POST["parent"] ." ".$_POST["child"]."";// column binding

I am not seeing this code, please review the screen shot. I have also attached all relivant pages.

I appreciate any and all direction that you could provide us.
