New Password set session value empty

Thread began 6/12/2011 7:50 pm by un33k9309513 | Last modified 6/17/2011 2:41 pm by un33k9309513 | 1848 views | 14 replies

no problem.

that worked and I also had to move up a few other lines below it.

However, testing it locally it changes the password in the database, but it does Not send an email with the new user and password

I read through another forum where "email was not being sent" and tried these things so far:

servername: I used both ip and
port: I used 25 and 26
return path: I tried my admin email and also empty
from display name: I tried taking it out and leaving empty

I also made sure my testing email is different than my admin email to reset password.

I am using a linux hosting service
Does it have to be live online or is it ok testing locally too

Any help on this, I think we are at the tail end of this thing working
