Adding a field to Registration page

Another question - I said I was reluctant to just dump all my admin pages (LogIn, Registration etc) and start again, as I wasn't sure if all the Wizard's activities were contained entirely in these pages (and the WA_SecurityAssist folder).
But sometimes it's easier to just start again. So, out of interest, is it safe at a time like this to delete the Wizard-created pages and the WA_SecurityAssist folder and start again? I did it once, saving my HelperGroupsRulesPHP.php file and copying it back in, but I'm not confident that it was safe to do.
As the Wizard is not re-entrant, this would sometimes be a feasible move. Or would it?
