showing Advanced Options by ID number

I am trying to determine what/how to modify PowerStore 4 so that products will show their options based on the ID (ascending or descending). Right now they appear in the order they are stored in the data table. I realize that *I* can do an ALTER SQL command on the table to sort it by the ProductID, OptionID, etc., but I'd rather have an ORDER BY happening at the data query.

I am assuming I need to modify ../webassist/plugins/shopping_cart/add_to_cart.php, but am not sure which of the complex SQL SELECTs to modify and how.

Has anyone done this before?
