upgrade to cs4 - extensions not showing

i just upgrades to Dreamweaver CS4 from a working CS# with all your extensions installed. I re installed all your extensions properly, they show as being installed in the CS4 Extension MAnager, but do not show up in dreameweaver anywhere. Any ideas?

Was Dreamweaver Open when you installed them?


If so, you will need to restart Dreamweaver.


I have seen instances where the Extension manager install was corrupted. If you accessed the Extension manager by going to the Start menu, you would see one list of extensions, if you accessed it in Dreamweaver through Commands -> Manage Extensions you would see a different list.


access the extension manager directly through Dreamweaver, once open, close Dreamweaver and install the extensions manually by selecting the Install Button in the Extension manager.

Thanks, I figured it out. No, Dreamweaver was closed.

On a MAC, CS4 installs a new CS4 only version of extension manager. You need to open the old extension manager from dreamweaver CS3, DISABLE all the WA extensions. Quit the manager. Open the CS4 Extension manager, install all the WA extensions and enable them.

The problem was that the computer sees the extensions as already running and installed. The new CS4 manager could not make them run twice..
