I run a business producing wealth management software (i.e. I'm not a developer). We need to produce top-end printed output for the new release of our app.

We want to use sculptor and my team will be ordering it on Monday. Here are my questions regarding printing:

1) Is it possible, within an existing print template, to allow the user to change background colors, logos, font types, font sizes, etc. dynamically?
2) Does your tool automatically convert to .pdf or do we need to use a tool such as PD4ML to create the .pdf?
3) Is it possible, within an exiting print template, to have a dynamic text frame in which the user enters text into an editor and the editor moves the text into the frame . . . such as a dynamic side-bar on a page?

Thank you for your help and I'm hopeful that Sculptor will be the answer to our printed output objectives.

1. If you mean by user the visitor to the page, then that is not handled by Sculptor, but it is possible with the proper server side coding. See below.

2. None of our products generate dynamic PDFs from page content.

3. I'm not quite sure what you mean by print template here, but it is possible for the page visitor to be able to enter in information (text, HTML) and have that information appear elsewhere on the site. This again is not something that Sculptor does. See below.

We have a number of products that ease the creation of server side code. For example. I'd suggest reading through the various products, but in particular take a look at DataAssist (http://www.webassist.com/software/dataassist/), SecurityAssist (http://www.webassist.com/software/securityassist/), and iRite (http://www.webassist.com/software/irite/). Also, please feel free to contact our sales folks as they can point you in the proper direction to find the tools that can help you acheive your goals. Our Contact page (http://www.webassist.com/company/contact-us.php) shows the phone number and email address.
