Can't put files up suddenly

I encounter this whenever I attempt to put up a file (the only thing I did differently was that I registered my Dreamweaver today):

Unable to open script file "Macintosh HD:Applications:Adobe Dreamweaver CS3:Configuration:Menus:MM:Site_AddToFavorites.js" (error 2)

There may be a problem with your site cache, you can try to recreate it by going to Site > Advanced > Recreate Site Cache. Typically I do not suggest that you rely on DW to upload your files as it sometimes has problems. I use an FTP client myself that works very well. The one that I use is FileZilla, I don't recall ever having problems with it.

Thanks, I tried that but still keep getting the same message.

This is not an error that I'm familiar with or have experienced myself. If you have searched around here on the forums and cannot find anything you may want to try hitting up the developer forums on Adobe's site or if there are any general DW forums that they have.

You could also try the DW cache file or configuration folder to see if that solves the problem but I'm not sure if that would do anything for you or not. Here is a link to a page with the steps to take for these techniques.
