Sales Tax for my state only - Kalifornia

Yeah yeah I know it's spelled wrong....but that's the way Governor Arnie says it.

Anyway. I thought when I went through the checkout wizard it asked me all of this stuff but I can't seem to go back and find where that was. I need to charge 9% (that's right...9 frickin' percent) to CA residents only. Is that not part of the wizard?

I found my sales tax rule in my cart object but nothing about the shipping state field as a filter. Any ideas on how to achieve this one?

There is a session variable stored with the value of the state selection. Use that to make your tax "Based on session variable value" and set it equal to "KA" (if Arnie had his way).
