Modify Universal Email

I am using Universal Email 2.8.0 to sent out emails using a recordset. When I open the page that I applied the UE to, and try to alter the body, I get errors and the emails do not send. Can I use UE more than once? meaning, can I apply it to my page, then alter it and have it still work Or do I have to start all over?

It should work to edit and you should not have to start over. Version 3 is currently available. You might want to check your download history to see if a more recent free build is available, but upgrading I'm sure would solve the problem.

thanks for the reply. I'm going to try it again today but every time I try to edit, I start getting errors and the mail does not go through. If this bug is fixed in version 3, then I think I should not have to pay for upgrading.

There should be a dot release for your version. If you post a support incident they will be able to likely fix the problem without needing to update the product.

There are other features in the update that prevent us from giving it away for free to all of the previous version owners. We give a very generous upgrade price for existing customers and have made a lot of improvements. If it happens to fix this issue too I thought it might behoove you to update.
