Html Editor does not work if the safe_mode is enabled on my server.
What can I do?

Some hosting services provide an option to set safemode on/off/auto via your control panel, usually under something like 'website settings'. [my pic attached]

If you don't have that option on your control panel, you should contact your hosting providers who should be able to to sort this for you.

My server administrator will not turn off safe mode on the server...

Not much help, but if my hosts said that, I would transfer out to a hosting company with the know-how and flexibility to meet my needs. Seriously.

There is loads of talk about being able to set safe-mode on a per/site or per/directory basis, through php.ini or .htaccess files, but the .htaccess doesn't apply to safe mode, and php.ini can only be set by your hosting providers.

I'd transfer out.
