Hello,
Ok, I purchase the WebAssist Web Developer Site Package and am now ready to get started designing my web site using Dearmweaver CS3.
I want to start with setting up my DataBase with PHP, so I downloaded the following files from my download account:
Datasources
PHP_Starting Point
Store_dynamic_SP_php
Store_dynamic_Cp_php
Store_static_Sp_php
DBSK_php
Can someone tell me where do I start with this?
Thank you in advance for any help provided.

Hi Sheila,
I would suggest that you start by reviewing the Database Starter Kit for PHP. If you need any assistance in setting up PHP and MySQL on your local computer submit a free support ticket. A member of our support team will be more than happy to provide you with instructions on how to accomplish this. :-)
To submit a support ticket, just click on the link I have included below and follow the on-screen instructions.

Hi Sheila,
Before going very much further at the moment, I would download Wamp if you're a PC user or Mamp if you're a mac user.
http://www.wampserver.com/en/
Once installed it will give you the chance to review any work you carry out in Dreamweaver as you build your site.
Hope this helps!

Thank you Mark and David,
I have downloaded and installed Wamp since I am using a PC with Windows XP, Pro.
From the information I have read and the test I have ran I think I have Wamp up and running.
The only problem I am experiencing now is, when I create a page in Dreamwever and try to vew it I keep getting a "HTTP 404 Page Not Found" message. I receive this message in both IE 7.0 and in FireFox 3.7.
As I stated all the test I have run with PHP and MySql state they are up and running. I can upload to my localhost and create pages using my database.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

You must be placing your files in the wrong directory or php isn't properly installed, or you are using the wrong URL. A 404 error means the page is not in the location specified.

Hi Ray,
Thank you for replying.
15 minutes after I posted my message on Saturday I figured out the problem.
The problem was in the URL on the Testing Tab.
I was using back slashes when I needed forward slashes. I am sure I read about this or saw a tutorial about this and had forgotten. 5 days away from the problem also helped.
Now, after two weeks of installing and uninstalling I am happy to be up and running.
Thank you again for replying.
