In step 3 of the gsg for ecart it says to pick your connection(done) and select your table and unique column. When I get to this step, I can select my connection, but the slots for choosing your table and unique column are'nt highlighted. I can't choose anything to manage my orders. Did I possibly miss something in my cart.php? I'm doing digital downloads and have a column added to both my products table and my order details table. If I can't select my table in this step, how can I go forward to setting up the downloads link after purchase?

Is there a problem with the connection somehow? Are you able to create a recordset in Dreamweaver using that connection? It should use the same mechanism.

Yes Ray, the same connection file was used for the whole site, I don't understand it. The details page and two other individual pages that work directly from the database work fine. Even the cart works great. It shows the connection available at that stage, 3, but not the tables. Can't choose any. I have no way to manage the orders.

i had this same problem

i clicked on the drop down and highlighted 'none' for the table, then clicked the drop down list again and highlighted the table i wanted and it worked.

This appears to be a bug when you only have one connection in your site. You need to physically select that connection again to have it refresh.

Thanks Jim, I can't even select none, this dropdown is'nt even highlighted at all. Like there's no options there even. And thankyou again Ray, I'll try to see what I can do, if I get it to work I'll let you know how I did it.

Sorry Jim I must of mistook what you meant about the none, guess you meant in the connections row. Well I selected none and reselected my connection and boom, there it was. Thankyou both, you guys are great help. Still learning, and always good to have guidance.
