CSS MenuWriter 2/1 Compatibility

If I have menus designed using CSS MenuWriter 1 are they compatible with / editable by CSS MenuWriter 2 or do I need to upgrade them somehow or redefine them with CSSMW2?

They should automatically be updated when you install MWv2 and you should not have to do anything.
