View Full Version : PNG files not maintaining transparency when uploaded with DFP2

I am using DFP2. I have set up an upload and set the file format to "Format: Keep existing format". However, if I upload a PNG file with a transparent background, the image ends up flattened with a black background in place of the transparent area.
I also tried "Convert to PNG" just to see what would happened. Same result.
How can I get PNG images to maintain their transparency when uploaded through DFP?

Hi,
I am having exactly the same problems. Is there a workaround to fix this issue?

I heard that a work around is to upload the png file as a file instead of a 'web image'

Is there a fix in the works for this ? On the current project I am working on I have had to use DMX Zone's Pure PHP Upload Bundle to get round this issue and it is a pain as I have had to change my admin panel files to cope with this.
