I had exactly the same issue this morning - Only change made recently was upgrade of data assist

I cleared the winfilecache

your user folder \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\en_US\Configuration

And all now seems to work - Hope that helps

Yes, deleting the Dreamweaver cache file from the users configuration folder should resolve the issue:
