I have broadband access, your website forum is very slow to pop-up. Is this a PHPBB3 in disguise? It really needs a dedicated server to run on! Is it running on a shared server? Can you speed up your web server?

It is running on an Amazon Cloud server: http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/

When it senses a slow down it should automatically correct the problem. Chances are the slow response you saw was temporary.
