iRite and cookies

Has any characterization been done regarding using iRite in conjunction with Cookies Toolkit?

In particular, what are the limitations to saving a form with an iRite field to a cookie using Cookies Toolkit?

It wouldn't work without hand coding it. iRite will not be recognized as a form field type by cookies toolkit. Would be fairly easy to update it and use the underlying code, but you would have to do some hand editing.
