Computer crashed, how to load backup

I had to reformat my hard drive on my laptop computer, which houses my complete website. I backed up the desktop folder up which contained all my website files, the ones that Site Assist created through Dreamweaver CS3 on a CD. The problem is that I never created a backup file within the Dreamweaver CS3 under "Export". I was ignorant of this and thought that the above backup was enough.

My computer format is complete and the computer has been restored. I have loaded Dreamweaver CS3 and Site Assist. I placed my website backup file on the desktop where it was before. How do I now load the site back into Site Assist?

If I understand your situation, you should be able to copy the files to the folder where you usually keep your websites, and recreate the site definitions in Dreamweaver.
