I have tried adding parameters to the URL links when editing the menu structure like so:
/InternalReports.asp?InternalReports=Individual Builder
but they don't work. Is this not supported?

In some cases we have noticed a problem with adding URL Variables with in the wizard. We are working to track down the cause of the problem so we can address it in a future update to menu writer. in the mean time, the work around is to add the variable manually after the menu has been created.

This is very poor form. The reason most people use extensions in the first place is so that they don't have to hand code. I have spent days implimenting menu writer into a clients intranet site which is very large and is constantly changing. This means that I can't use the edit contents button to use the graphical interface anymore because if I do I loose all the parameters. I have to hand code it.
What can I do to speed up the process of finding a fix for this problem?
