I just purchased the CSS Menu Writer product and on the product features page it states, "Combine horizontal and vertical menus on the same page"
I have tried several times to do this - I have a need for a horizontal menu as well as a vertical menu on a site - can anyone assist with this? Thanks, Mark.

What have you done? What goes wrong when you try? You should be able to add as many menus as you want. Where is it you have the problem? Without more specific information it is hard to say what might be going wrong.

I have created a very basic page with a php extension - xhtml1-transitional.dtd...
When I use the Insert/Webassist/CSS Menu Writer/New Menu command in Dreamweaver CS4 I simply insert a basic menu (horizontal accent preset, for example). It creates a folder called CSSMenuWriter which includes a number of associated files... The menu works fine.
Then I follow the exact same steps to insert another menu on the same page (this time a vertical menu). When I test the page, it appears that both menus then take on the same attributes, color scheme, etc., as the second menu inserted (the vertical one). Not being a very technical person, it appears to me that the files in the CSSMenuWriter folder that was created are overwritten by the files for the second menu (the vertical one).
Am I missing a step? I went through the help files and documentation, and did not see anything on inserting a second menu on the same page. Thanks.

That seems odd. It should create it's own set of files for each menu added. So they would only look the same if you used the same settings.
Do you have a URL where I can see the problem?

Thanks for your assistance - I am working on a local machine at the moment and can't provide you with a link. I have found the problem, however. It was in the naming of the presets. The folder names in the CSSMenuWriter folder were the same (cssmw1 & cssmw1), however, once they were changed (cssmw1 & cssmw2) the two menus on the same page worked fine. Problem solved.

You must have copied and pasted and then edited to change it? Usually it will automatically create a new folder for each menu added.
