DO you have a time frame for an upgrade? DO you have a stand alone version?

NO, there is no stand alone version. We do not currently have a time from for when CSS Sculptor will be upgraded for Expression Web 3.

We cannot plan any updates for Expression Web 3 until Microsoft releases the update to include add-in support.
The initial release of Expression 3 does not support Add-ins. Microsoft will be releasing an update in the near future to include add-in support. At that time, we will be evaluating the compatibility of our software.

Since this thread is a few months old and there've been two service packs for EW3, is there any word on whether CSS Sculptor works with it? I do not want to install EW3 unless CSS Sculptor can now be used with it. Thanks.

I don't get it. You create a product knowing that MS will update the main version then you don't update the product you sell? That is not the way to retain customers but to lose them to other companies.
I don't know why it's such a big deal to update it. I wish I had bought the Dreamweaver version but DW included their own library of CSS sheets so I didn't see the need.
I have WE1 on one pc and CSS sculptor works on it but I have the upgraded 3 on my main pc and it won't work at all.
Seems like a giant waste of money I spent.

Microsoft launched the new version and dropped the old extensibility architecture and support. It was literally impossible for us to do the update until microsoft added support for it.
Now that they have added back an extensibility feature we will be looking into the difficulty of porting our extensions.

This is good to hear. I almost didn't read this, figuring it was the same old story- but I was gladly wrong!
Thanks for the update and for you work on this on behalf of those that have bought it and supported Webassist!!
Thanks again,
Jana

So now that EWEB 3 SP1 has remove the restriction for add-0ns, What is the commitment from WebAssist to continue with updates and new add-ins.
What are the time values?
How does WebAssist Value its Expression Web User Base?
Can we please have some FIRM commitment or Statement from WebAssist?
I think this would be a prudent move towards better customer service....
Oh... and when, when, when are you going to create some decent documentation for your Dreamweaver add-ins???

Ray mentions documentation for DW extensions, which I see quite a few of, but I don't see much if any for WE.
How do you install their add-ins?I meant EW, not WE. Sorry!
OK I downloaded these butttons and it won't install. No installer? How do I get these buttons into EW? Ideas?
Also you said you added a top level menu but I only saw the buttons. Where is the menu?
thanks!

Watch the video for "Understanding Add Ins?" on the page: http://www.webassist.com/expression-web-add-ins/
It has a video tutorial that talks about installation.
