Unable to locate winfilecache.dat

No matter what method used in references to this file in this forum, I cannot find this file, and my site import still crashes on startup. Would you tell us exactly where to find this file?

Try opening up an explorer window and typing in %Appdata% into the file path and hitting enter.

This should take you to the Roaming directory of your AppData directory and you can navigate to the Adobe folder and then the Dreamweaver folder for the version you are using and find the configuration folder which contains the winfilecache.

note: if you are using CS4, you will have to navigate to the en_US folder before the configuration folder.

Try to show hiden files in:
Tools menu
Folder Options
View tab
hiden files and folders
Show hiden files and folders.

Thanks for the input. That would be another way to get to the Roaming folder if it is hidden.
